Exploring Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras
In the Yoga Sutras, Patanjali explains that balanced effort will sustain us on path of yoga. The sutras are rich with suggestions that both influence our practice of this ancient tradition, and support our navigation though the responsibilities of daily life.
The Art of Vedic Chant
Experience and learn the art of Vedic Chant. Vedic texts, thousands of years old, are presented in the Sanskrit language and contain wisdom still relevant to the challenges we face in the modern world. But it is the act of chanting itself that brings life to these texts as well as to the person listening and reciting.
Through time honored principles of instruction found in the Vedas, explore listening and chanting as an integrating experience for body, mind and breath. Basic orientation to the principles and practice of Vedic Chant presented through recitation and response, repetition of simple sounds, brief chants, and short excerpts from longer passages.

Classes are suitable for all levels of students, from beginners through life-long practitioners.
Each session will include, chant, movement, meaning and reflection.
